E-ticket for two trips available as of November 1
The standard price of the 2-trip ticket is LVL 1; it can be either loaded to a smart-card or bought as smart ticket. The new 2-trip ticket is also available with 50% discount, for LVL 0.50, to pupils and students, who will have to load it into their personalised e-tickets. The new ticket is valid on all routes of Riga public transport and has to be used within one year upon its purchase day.
"Rīgas satiksmes" also introduces, as of November 1, 50 % discount on the 4-trip ticket for pupils and students, the price of which will be LVL 1.
The 2-trip ticket has been introduced following customers’ wishes and recommendations, since a part of passengers use public transport for round trips. "Rīgas satiksme" hopes the introduction of the new ticket will provide public transport passengers with wider opportunities of finding the most advantageous and suitable type of e-ticket.
